How do I access my CE online services?
Select “Education & Assessment” from the left-hand menu, click on “eLearning” and then click on “Online Case Studies”. Select “Finding the Exercises” from the menu on the right.
Select from the drop down list of disciplines; Topics in Continuing Education for Physician Members or Laboratory Professionals. From here, you can select your exercises from the lists.
Add the exercise to your shopping cart.Shopping cart icon Purchase the exercise. Then, at your leisure, go to “MY ASCP” at www.ascp.org and you can download the reading materials (My Downloads), take the exam (My Exams), and print your certificate (My Certificates).

How do I access my free CE Online exercises?
To access your free on-line exercises select the “Login” button on the right-hand side of the screen. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “Free CE Exercises” from the Online Services menu. You will then see a window with your available CE exercises.
You must select the shopping cart icon to use your free CE exercises. Online CE exercises appearing on the page are free, so long as you have not used all your Free CE exercises.

How do I access my LabQ, Check Sample and Tech Sample online answer sheet area?
To access your LabQ, Check Sample and Tech Sample online answer sheet area select “MY ASCP” from the left-hand menu. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “LabQ, Check Sample and Tech Sample” from the Online Services menu.
Enter the last seven digits of your Order Number, the program year, which product you are using (LabQ, Tech Sample or Check Sample), and the discipline area you will be completing.
The next screen will be your LabQ, Check & Tech Sample Exercises. Select the exam you want to take. Once it is submitted the answers will be revealed, then you will be able to print your certificate.

How do I access the handout materials for the meetings I am attending?
Select “My ASCP” from the left-hand menu. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “My Meeting Materials” from the Online Services menu.
Download Instructions: Simply right-click on the “My Meeting Materials” link, select “Save Target As...”, and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can open and print your handout and also keep a copy for future reference or to share with your coworkers.

How do I disable Norton Ad blocker?
For some reason known only to the Symantec Corporation, certain images (our certificates) are seen as advertisements when an attempt is made to view.
For those ASCP customers that have Norton Internet Security installed on their computers, the ad-blocking “feature” of Norton Internet Security must be disabled in order to print their certificates on-line. Following are instructions on how to disable this feature.
To turn off the Ad Blocker, please do the following:
Either go to the “Start” menu to “Programs” or locate the Norton “Globe” icon in your system tray (the lower right hand corner of your screen). Left click to open the program. Locate “Ad Blocking” and turn it off.

How do I obtain an ASCP ID?
New customers can obtain an ASCP ID from this link.
Enter a password (Note: Passwords are case sensitive), your name, address and phone information. (*Items are required Fields) After clicking on the submit button, you will be given an ASCP ID number.

How do I obtain my certificate(s)?
Select “MY ASCP” from the left-hand menu; then select login. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “My Certificates” from the Online Services menu.
You will then see a list of available certificate(s). Select the certificate description to view and print your certificate of participation.

How do I document my attendance and receive a certificate for a teleconference I've attended?
Select “MY ASCP” from the left-hand menu. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “Education and Assessment” >> “Teleconferences” from the menu on the left. Locate “Documentation of attendance for CE credit” and click on the link “Document your attendance”.
Next, click on the corresponding program title to access the online program evaluation for the teleconference you have attended. After submitting your program evaluation responses, you will be automatically directed to the Online Attendance Verification System for Individuals where you must first log in and then enter the 11-digit attendance verification passcode. You will then be directed to the page where you can view and print your certificate of participation. You will have 60 business days after the program date to submit your attendance verification data and print your certificate of participation.

How do I document my groups attendance and receive a certificate for a teleconference attended?
Select “MY ASCP” from the left-hand menu. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “Education and Assessment”>> “Teleconference” from the menu on the left. Locate “Documentation of attendance for CE credit” and click on the link “Document your group's attendance”.
You will have 60 business days after the program date to submit your attendance verification data and print your certificate of participation.

How do I renew my ASCP membership?
Select “MY ASCP” from the left-hand menu. Logon using your ASCP User ID and password noted above. Select “Renew Membership” from the My Orders menu. Select “ADD” and click on Renew Now” to renew your membership.

How do I view PDF documents?
Try right-clicking on the link, then choose “save as...” Save the document to your desktop (or put it in a folder where you can later find it). Then double click on the item to launch it. It is important that you not try to open the document with Microsoft Word or any application other than Adobe Acrobat.
If problem persists, download the latest version of Adobe Reader.

How do I change my monitor resolution?
On a Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME/XP:
- Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel.
- Control Panel window will open.
- Open Display icon. Display Properties window will open.
- Select Settings tab.
- Ensure Desktop Area is set to at least 800 x 600 pixels.
On Mac:
- Apple Menu > Control Panels
- Open Monitor icon.
- From list of available resolutions, select resolution you wish to use. Your screen resolution will change instantly.
